Gant Menswear is classed as a lifestyle brand, but it started its life a lot different to how we know it today. Berhandt Gant set off life sewing shirt collars in a sweatshop in New York. He eventually set up in business wirh his wife making purely formal shirts, but as time went by there was less and less people wearing this style of shirt and eventually the classic button down casual shirt was born. As the brand continued to grow so did the collection and now boasts not only menswear but ladies,childrenswear and now home wear.
