Hi guys, Sam here from Michael Stewart Menswear, now today we're going to take a look at Replay jeans. Now this is an Italian brand that is just renowned for their denim, it is what they do best. They do do other stuff, but their jeans are top notch, and this season, we're backing a particular fit known as the Grover. 

What I wanted to do is,  I want to take a little look at ALL of this lovely selection of denim that we have in the Grover fit, tell you what the fit's all about, tell you why it needs to be on your legs and show you some of the nice little key details and features that these jeans have. Let's get into it.

How Does the Replay Grover Jean Fit?

So first and foremost, let's talk about the fit, which is the most important thing about any pair of jeans. I think wash and fabric do come second because I think all of us blokes know, trying on jeans...it's a nightmare, it is an absolute pain in the arse, especially trying to get it bang on. 

And usually when you find a pair of jeans or you find a pair of jeans you like, you just stick with it. I, for one, I'm not gonna lie, I love a pair of Levi's, we don't even stockLevi's, but I do love their fit, and I'd probably say this is probably closest to their sort of 501. It's a nice straight, regular fit through from the hip to the hem, it's got a nice regular rise to it, it is as standard as a jean comes and I'll be honest guys, the skinny jean, it's not about any more so we're moving to that slightly more regular, more comfortable, more relaxed fit. 

It's not too baggy, it's not too slim, it just sits nicely, nice straight fit in the middle, and as you can see, they just look fantastic. They've got a nice level of stretch to them, I mean, all the Replay jeans do, they do get that cotton blend nice, so it's comfortable, it's wearable, it's breathable, you can spend all day in these and it's not going to feel like you're wearing jeans, you know. There's not too heavy denim, it's not too raw, it's not like that sort of selvedge, stuff you've got to break in. You can get these on straight away and just get moving with them, and that is why we love these Replays.

Generally, I'd say they are pretty much true to size. I typically can vary waist size, maybe a 32, probably a 33, but in these today, I'm wearing a 32, and they feel nice, they feel comfortable, I've been wearing them for some time. It's hot in this studio as well, and I'm feeling pretty cool, so I like that.

Now, all the Replay they're gonna come with particular features,  you're always going to have a nice bit of branding on it. Usually got a bit of an interesting patch on the back, and then in terms of fly, some are buttoned, some are zipped, we'll always put in the descriptions which ones they are.

But you're always going to get some nice branded hard-wear and a really good sort of level of wash. Some are crisp and clean, nice dark blues, sort of quite smart. Some are a little bit more washed, and we even have corduroy as well.

They are an essential piece of denim that can be worn on any occasion. I mean, take a look at some of those darker washes, ideal for a little date night, wear well with a nice shirt, some proper shoes, maybe even a jacket as well. Or those lighter washes, perfect with some trainers, t-shirt, polo...really easy to dress up, to dress down, and they're going to be in rotation in your wardrobe for years to come, I can almost guarantee it.
