Hey guys, Sam here from Michael Stewart Menswear! Now, I thought I would just run through a new Paul Smith collection that has just been delivered to us. Now, for us, we would refer to this as "pre-autumn/winter," but truly, it’s got nothing to do with autumn/winter at all. It is really for high summer. The weather is getting hot and nice, and this collection perfectly reflects that. There's some nice bright colours, some great little pieces, some nice little sweatshirts, just for when it does get a little bit chilly. But, really it is geared towards some nice proper sunny weather.
So, whether you are enjoying the sun at home or you're going to soak it up abroad, there is definitely something in this Paul Smith collection for you. So, I thought I'd just quickly run through my top few favourite pieces of this little collection.
Paul Smith Shirts for Summer 2026
Let's begin with shirting. Now, a nice couple of options, as always with Paul Smith, there's going to be a nice little pattern, all-over floral pattern here in a lovely, soft cotton poplin—really lightweight, super soft to wear. Nice little contrast pink button. It's classic Paul Smith: it's playful, it’s got a nice little twist to it, but it is still classic tailoring in all its fine form. We really, really do like this, absolutely spot on.
If patterns aren't your thing, then don't worry. We do have a lovely plain Oxford, 100% cotton, again a nice tailored fit. So, it will look dead smart and sharp. Button-down collar, little contrast buttons, and it does as well, somewhere the zebra patch as well. So, classic PS Paul Smith, it's got the zebra on, instantly recognisable and just a quality little shirt.
Summer Sweatshirts from Paul Smith
Okay, let’s go for layering pieces. Now, of course, it is the British summertime after all, it’s not always going to be roasting hot and 25° plus! So we do have a couple of nice little sweatshirts, great to layer. We've got this lovely, zebra hoodie in a lovely light yellow as well. Really popular colour, we've also got this coming through in a polo and a t-shirt, which are already flying out. It's got the zebra on, nice, classic, nice comfy fit, really, you can't go wrong.
If a half-zip is more your thing, then we’ve got it in this lovely seasonal green as well. To be honest, this is a great piece to transfer you from spring/summer, all the way through to autumn/winter. You can't go wrong with this. It’s an all-year-rounder, which is what we love—a bit of versatility. As always, both regular fit, both cotton, both great quality.
Paul Smith Polos
Okay, polos. Now, 100% cotton, pique, regular fit, it's a classic that we know and love. Comes in this lovely, punchy, bright pink. White tipping on it, it looks really, really smart. There is also a nice light pink with a blue tipping as well; you really can't go wrong with Paul Smith polos; there's a reason why they're probably our number one seller in the Paul Smith range. Great quality, nice fit and just reliable, whether it's the tipped or the plain, we've got loads of colours to choose from, and all of them from this high summer collection are really bright, really punchy, so great to reflect the lovely weather we're having.
Now, if you’re looking for something a little bit different in the polo shirt department, then Paul Smith has brought out exactly what I’m wearing right now. This is a lovely rugby shirt. Can’t go wrong with it! Nice contrast collar and placket, nice little bit of embroidery to the chest, nice comfortable regular fit, cuff sleeves. It’s everything you want in a 100% cotton rugby shirt.
The Latest Paul Smith Trend: Rugby Shirts
Great for layering, great for that sort of inclement weather, too. So, this is something we absolutely love and recommend getting in on. It's definitely a trend we're starting to see now, and I think you're going to be seeing a lot more of this into autumn/winter and into next year's spring/summer as well. That sort of preppy, rugby style is coming back, and it's coming in a big way. So, get ahead of the curve. This would be a great place to start.
Paul Smith Graphic Tees
And lastly, it wouldn't be a Paul Smith collection if they didn't have a fun and different graphic t-shirt. A couple of options for you here, we've got a lovely one in black with a big bold graphic on the front, erm, sure that's something, I'm not sure what, but it looks great. Nice, 100% cotton, great quality, and I know what these are, these are photo slides on the green. Again, nice playful print, got a little bit going on with it. Exactly what you would want from Paul Smith. We did have one in white with footballs on it, but as you can imagine, it is the World Cup, and I think we have one left; they sold out. So, you snooze, you lose on that one. But we have some fantastic graphic prints, which really round off this lovely Paul Smith collection.
