Veja

So let's get one of the main things about Veja trainers covered straight away... the pronunciation! We're asked this a lot by our in-store customers who are loving this new addition to the Michael Stewart Menswear brand list. It's the same as when you say "deja vu" and the literal translation of Veja from Portuguese to English is "look". The supposed meaning here is that you should "look" more closely at the trainers that you are wearing, a reference perhaps to their sustainability credentials (more on this below).

We’ve expanded our 2026 collection with exciting new arrivals, including the standout Veja Panenka Suede trainer. While our curated range remains focused on beautifully crafted, minimalist designs, these new additions offer a fresh alternative to the usual big-name brands. With a variety of versatile colourways now available, there is a pair to suit every wardrobe.

Veja are also a great choice of sneaker for anyone concerned about their environmental impact. Their trainers are considered by some to be one of the most sustainable footwear brands on the planet with their use of ecological materials sourced from ethical suppliers. If you're new to the Veja brand and you're unsure on sizing then get in touch and one of our friendly team will be happy to advise!
