This highly technical outdoor brand dates back to the not-so-distant past to 2006. Co-founder Massimo Rossetti identified a niche in the unlikeliest of places, Alaska, nonetheless. Rossetti came across the 210th Rescue Squadron (Parajumpers or PJs for short) in an Alaskan bar. If you are familiar with Alaska’s terrain and tundra climate, you will be able to appreciate just how far this rescue group will go to complete their missions. Curious about the uniform worn by the group, Rossetti identified that the clothing they used to withstand the elements was overbearing, restrictive and almost unwearable because of the overpowering weight. The idea for Parajumpers was then taken and ran with from this chance encounter.
